3009608 - Error: data sources is not set in the <GOOGLEBIGQUERY_DRIVERMANAGER> environment variable when configuring a DSN for Google BigQuery

Symptom

  • Unable to configure a DSN for Google BigQuery in DS Connection Manager
  • DSConnectionManager.log contains the error:
    • CON-120906: Initialization
    • The ODBC Driver Manager library for <:> data sources is not set in the <GOOGLEBIGQUERY_DRIVERMANAGER> environment variable.
    • Set the <GOOGLEBIGQUERY_DRIVERMANAGER> environment variable by running '$LINK_DIR/bin/DSConnectionManager.sh'.
    • testConnection: failure output
    • ERROR: connection test failed!
