3009923 - Inconsistency in 3PL Inventory Notification With Error "Corresponding Transfer Item is Not Unique or Does Not Exist"

You have a Third-Party Inventory Notification inconsistent, and when you click on Check Consistency button, error message Item XXX-YY: Corresponding transfer item is not unique or does not exist (XXX meaning the Internal Notification ID and YY the Item ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Go to the 3PL Inventory Management view and select Inventory Notifications sub-view.
3. Search for XXX.
4. See that Notification Status is Inconsistent.
5. Click on the Check Consistency button.

Error message appears: Item XXX-YY: Corresponding transfer item is not unique or does not exist.

The product at Line YY has just a line with Movement Direction as Inventory Issue for Item Group XYZ (XYZ meaning the Item Group ID), and no line with Movement Direction as Inventory Receipt for the same.

To solve the issue, you can follow the steps below:

1. Go to the Third-Party Logistics work center.
2. Go to the 3PL Inventory Management view and select Inventory Notifications sub-view.
3. Search for the Inventory Notification XXX.
4. Click on the Edit button.
5. Go to the Line Items tab, select the Add Row button, enter Item ID, Reason - Transfer, Movement Direction - Inventory Receipt. Here you have to enter the same values for Item Group ID which you have entered in the line item ID YY and fill in Product and Quantity columns too.
6. Either select the stock as restricted or enter a identified stock ID as you are doing a change of stock.

Later perform Check operation, the notification document will be consistent.
