3010192 - "You are not authorized to perform the requested action" error when creating or deleting Service Instance

Symptom

When creating or deleting a Service Instance via BTP Cockpit or CF CLI, the below error messages are thrown:

  • Failed to create the service instance. You are not authorized to perform the requested action.
  • Couldn't create Service Key 'ServiceKeyName'. Please view details for more information. You are not authorized to perform the requested action.
  • Couldn't create service instance 'Instance_Name'. Please view details for more information. You are not authorized to perform the requested action.
