Symptom
This solution article explains what makes a curriculum be considered 'Complete' or 'Incomplete'.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Reproducing the Issue
- Log into HCM > Navigate to Learning Administration > People > Users >
- Search the users that were assigned to the curriculum in question >
- At the user's record, navigate to the Curricula tab >
- For each assigned curricula, look at the Status column
Resolution
The 'Complete' status is achieved when any of the following occur:
- All required items in the curriculum have been successfully completed and recorded;
- The effective date of each item is in the future;
- Some of the required items are complete and the remaining required items have an effective date in the future;
- The curriculum's requirements have been met
The 'Incomplete' status is in effect when any of the following occur:
- A new curriculum is assigned to a user and the effective date for any required item is in the past;
- At least one of the curriculum's required items has not been successfully completed and recorded;
- A completed item's retraining interval date has passed;
- The curriculum was modified with a new or revised item, and the effective date is not set for a future date;
- The curriculum's requirements have not been met.
Note: In LMS standard Report, only the completion status of curricula is recorded. There is no completion date is available because curricula consist of multiple items, and users can complete or update the status of each item at any time.
