3010604 - Custom docx form is not generated properly from Employee Profile when using IE

A custom docx form for Employee Profile (Action section) exists in the instance. Once that you trigger the job for this custom docx in Internet Explorer, the word file will not generate the correct form format. This issue is only happening in Internet Explorer and not with other browsers like Chrome.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Use Internet Explorer as browser

2. Go to Employee Profile

3. Click Actions

4. In the "Select Template" section, select the custom docx form.

5. Click Create

6. Wait for the file to be generated. Open it and you will notice that the format is not generated

There is a different process of extracting the custom docx file for IE.

1. Use Internet Explorer as browser
2. Go to Employee Profile
3. Click Actions
4. In the "Select Template" section, select the custom docx form.
5. Click Create
6. You will get a popup saying, Do you want to open or save SSuitecard.docx
7. Go to Save button and select the option "Save and Open"
8. Now the form will display properly in correct format.
