3011585 - Error 'The report was not found. It may have been deleted, or you have lost access to it.' when creating Canvas Report [Online Report Designer]

When creating Canvas Report the following error appears:

'The report was not found. It may have been deleted, or you have lost access to it. Please update any saved links such as your Home Page favourites or bookmarks.'

1. Navigate to Reporting
2. Create Canvas Report
3. Error 'The report was not found. It may have been deleted, or you have lost access to it.' appears.

This error is happening when the landing page referred in the WFA Role Maintenance is deleted for a particular role. As it is deleted, the user with this role is getting the error message as there is no landing page existing to start the Online Report Designer.

1. Navigate to Reporting > View Schedules > Legacy Report Distributor Tool > Admin (top right corner) > Roles Maintenance
2. Choose the role of the user that is experiencing this issue.
3. Edit Settings tab > Assign existing Start Page

*If Default KPI Page is not available, it might have been deleted. In this situation, you can create a support ticket to retrieve this page from the analytics backend or to create a new one.
