3012188 - Intrastat SSCUI: Authorization error

Symptom

While configuring the SSCUI's for item name "Intrastat", below error occurs;

"You are not authorized to use this function".

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the App 'Manage Your Solution'.
  2. Go to 'Configure Your Solution'.
  3. Apply the following filter value: Application Area: 'Finance' and Sub Application Area: 'International Trade Management'.
  4. Select the row with Item name 'Intrastat'.
  5. Click 'Configure'.

Cause

Missing Business catalog.

Resolution

Assign Business catalog "SAP_CA_BC_IC_LND_SLL_ISR_PC" (Intrastat - Configuration) to Business role 'BR_BPC_EXPERT' (Configuration Expert - Business Process Configuration) assigned to user.
