Symptom
A Business Partner ABC (ABC represents the partner who is also account) in C4C has more than one role.
For example, you have a Partner which is also Account. Or you have an Employee which is also Contact.
You notice, that for the account ABC you see two opportunities assigned, for the partner ABC you only see one.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Partners work centre view.
- Open ABC.
- Go to the Opportunities facet.
- You see 1 opportunity 123 (123 represents the opportunity name).
- NOTE: 123 has the partner ABC as involved party.
- Go to the Customers work centre.
- Go to the Accounts view.
- Open account ABC.
- Go to the Opportunities facet.
- Result: you see 2 opportunities: 123 and 456.
- Note: 456 has the account ABC as involved party.
Cause
On the Opportunity facet in the Account UI all opportunities are listed in which this business partner occurs in - any - party role.
On the Opportunity facet in the Partner UI all opportunities are listed in which this business partner occurs in the - Partner - party role.
Resolution
The Involved Parties facet in Opportunity 123 will show the partner ABC as involved party.
In opportunity 456, you will see only the account ABC as involved party.
