3012529 - Unknown ID in TMLTriggerRecalculation job

Symptom

The TLM Trigger Recalculation job is automatically triggered after some changes in an employees profile or time off requests. However, when viewing the job in the Execution Manager Dashboard the ID at the end of the job is unclear and shows some random value.

(i.e. TLMTriggerRecalculation_USER_****)

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 2H20

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Execution Manager Dashboard
  2. Select the Scheduled Job tab
  3. Set the Process Definition Identifier to TLMTriggerRecalculation
  4. Notice some jobs show TLMTriggerRecalculation_USER_****  with what appears to be a random value at the end

Resolution

The value shown at the end is the secured value of the user ID. This value is used to mask the user's identity and general data protection.

To find the "correct" unprotected version of the user ID, simply go to the Event Details and Download Event Log.
