3012642 - It is not Possible to Find a Position by Name if the Field std_position_obj is Configured as multiselect="true" - Recruiting Management

On the Job Requisition, if the field std_position_obj is configured as multiselect="false", it's possible to search by the Position Name and Number but if the field is configured as multiselect="true", the search option is no longer available.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Recruiting > Open any Job Requisition
  2. Find the Position Object field
  3. Try to search by the Position Name or Number
  4. Change the multiselect attribute to "true"
  5. Repeat the same steps
  6. Now the search is no longer available

This is an expected behavior. The multiselect component does not support search function.
