3012648 - F4 Help on input-ready cell is not working in AO 2.7 SP8 and higher versions

The F4 Help on input-ready cell is not working in AO 2.7 SP8 or higher versions.

It was working in lower versions.

1. Run query in AO;
2. Try to open the F4 Help on input-ready cell;
3. Confirm the F4 Help is not available in the input-ready cell (Question Mark is not showing up and pressing F4 does not open the dialog).

If the underlying dimension has no master data table (check master data flag), the Value Help is not allowed. This is due to a possible security risk of exposing all kind of comments and values.

In this case, the behavior in AO 2.7 SP8 and higher versions is correct. The behavior in old versions is incorrect.

The behavior observed in old versions of AO was a bug introduced by SAP note 2695128. This has caused AO to incorrectly provide the F4 Help which was fixed by the correction delivered in AO 2.7 SP8 and higher versions as described in SAP note 2813180.

If the Value Help is necessary, a master data reference is required.
