3013245 - Restrictions on Cost Center authorization are not working in APP Cost Centers - Plan/Actual


You want to maintain Display restrictions on Cost Center authorizations in business role, so only the specific cost centers can be shown in APP Cost Centers - Plan/Actual.
Even though you've maintained all the Cost Center field in Read/Value Help and your user only assigned to one role to avoid mulitple Roles share union athourizations.
But all the Cost Centers still display in the APP.



Reproducing the Issue

  1. Make sure relevant Business Catalog SAP_FIN_BC_OH_REP_CCA_PC has assigned to Business Role.
  2. In APP Maintain Business Roles, choose Maintain Restrictions, ''Write/Read/Value Help'' is maintained as 'No Access', maintain ''Read/Value Help'', enter specific Cost Centers in almost every Cost Center fields, leave other fields as ''unrestricted'' and save.
  3. Open APP Cost Centers - Plan/Actual, input parameters and click OK, restrictions are not working, all the Cost Centers shown in the APP.


Restriction type "Cost Center Hierarchies" must be ''not maintained'' if you use restrictions on single cost centers.


Please also set Field ''Cost Center Hierarchy'' as ''Not Maintained''.

Note: Also make sure there isn't another role with Unrestricted access assigned to your user with catalog SAP_FIN_BC_OH_REP_CCA_PC.
