3013594 - "No data is available for the chart to render." error occurs when opening story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

The following "No data is available for the chart to render." error occurs when opening story in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

• "No data is available for the chart to render." appears in charts

SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 

1. Open story.
2. Notice that "No data is available for the chart to render." error appears in chart.

Certain filters are cached and after changing the filter values, it points to the previous selection.

• Either try to click on refresh button under Data option of story.
• Or turn off query batching in the story's Query Setting. This way the queries and the filter values are always regenerated every time the story is loaded.
