3014328 - Functional Area Appears Blank in 'Balance Sheet/Income Statement - Multidimensional' App

Functional area appears as '#' in the 'Balance Sheet/Income Statement - Multidimensional' App (ID W0161) despite being filled for the same account in the 'Display Line Items in General Ledger' app (ID F2217).

In the two apps "Display Line Items in General Ledger" and "Balance Sheet / Income Statement Multidimensional" the functional area contains different information.

In the App "Display Line Items in General Ledger" the functional area refers to the line items. Hence in this case the column "Functional Area" contains the functional area values of the line items.

In the App "Balance Sheet / Income Statement Multidimensional" the functional area refers to the financial statement. Hence in this case the "Functional Area" contains the functional area, which was - instead of accounts - assigned to a node in the financial statement. That means if a node of the financial statement version would be assigned to a functional area to represent the underlying profit and loss accounts this functional area would be displayed in the balance sheet app.
