Symptom

SAP Web Dispatcher is unresponsive. When attempting to check its status via Operating System level through sapcontrol interface, the result is the following:

server01:sidadm 01> sapcontrol -nr xx -function GetProcessList
sapwebdisp, Web Dispatcher, YELLOW, Running but status info unavailable, 2021 01 01 12:00:00, XXX:XX:XX, <PID>


Upon examining the Operating System level for the specified process ID (PID), it has been verified that the PID does not correspond to an SAP Web Dispatcher, but rather to a distinct active process.
