3014638 - Suspend and Resume Log Transfer with async_parser and parallel_dist enable cause data lost - SRS 16.0

Symptom

  • Enable parallel_dist and async_parser in SAP Replication Server (SRS).
  • Executing "suspend log transfer" and "resume log transfer" cause data lost.
  • The following error can be seen in SRS errorlog:

    E. 20XX/01/19 14:14:44. ERROR #14040 REP AGENT(rssd.prs16_RSSD) - neric/exec/execint.c(1537) Replication Agent for rssd.prs16_RSSD has been Suspended. Disconnecting Replication Agent.
    E. 20XX/01/19 14:14:46. ERROR #14040 Async Parser(108(1) ase.edb3) - neric/exec/execint.c(1537) Replication Agent for ase.edb3 has been Suspended. Disconnecting Replication Agent.
