3015021 - VA05 selection with Customer Reference - S/4HANA

Symptom

You are using transaction VA05 (List of Sales Orders - Optimized on S/4HANA) to select sales documents based on the 'Customer Reference' (VBKD-BSTKD) selection parameter.

In ECC VA05 it was possible to search sales orders based on both header and item customer reference. You want to use the header level 'Customer Reference' and not the item level. This doesn't work on S/4HANA. The system is not selecting documents if the item level 'Customer Reference' differs from the header data.
