3015525 - DGP: performance issues and resolution in Solution Manager 7.2

Downgrade protection (DGP) is a feature integrated in Change Request Management and Quality Gate Management (QGM) in SAP Solution Manager. The downgrade protection retrieves information from both the transport status level and the transport object level, and because the conflict detection algorithm is complex, experience bottlenecks in downgrade protection performance may happen. For example, it is possible to experience performance issues or timeout errors during following transport actions:

1. Assign transport request
2. Create transport of copies
3. Release transport request
4. Import transport request
