The following error and warning occurs when releasing an Invoice:

No valid communication arrangement found.

Error(s) occurred during output parameter determination XYZ. (XYZ represents the ID of the Invoice)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Customer Invoicing work center. 
2. Select the  Invoice Documents view. 
3. Open Customer Invoice XYZ.
4. Click on the Release button. 
5. Following error occurs:
   No valid communication arrangement found.
   Error(s) occurred during output parameter determination XYZ.

You have maintained the communication channel as External System in the account master data for Customer Invoice.

• The scoping question Do you want to enable External system based communication from Output Management? is not active.

• You have not maintained a Communication Arrangement for output of the customer invoice.

• You created a Communication Arrangement with the Communication Scenario "Output of Customer Invoices".
  The communication arrangement for "Output of Customer Invoices" scenario is for the communication channel XML with the Communication type Business-to-Business (B2B). You need to use the Communication Scenario "Output Management XML Integration" which has the Communication type Application Integration if you use the communication channel as External System.
  
  

Ensure that the scoping question Do you want to enable External system based communication from Output Management? is active and a Communication Arrangement has been maintained
