Symptom
The NW JAVA stack upgrade process has failed during the execution phase of SUM, more specifically in the deployment of the UDDI component.
SUM logs' DEPLOY-COMPONENTS_<XX>.<X>.LOG shows:
Deployment finished with error.
sap.com/UDDI: Deployment of archive \usr\sap\patche\UDDI<...>.SCA for component sap.com/UDDI aborted
Detailed message: 1. Already deployed component has version:<...>
1. Contains Aborted deployment component:
sap.com_tc~esi~uddi~content
Deployment of archive \usr\sap\patche\<...>.SCA --> uddiContent.sda for component sap.com/tc~esi~uddi~content aborted
Detailed message: 1. ASJ.dpl_ds.006193 Operation [update] of stand-alone module file [<path>\DEPLOYARCHIVES\uddiContent.sda] failed
-> Component [sap.com/tc~esi~uddi~content] has been originally deployed on content handler(s) with name(s):
- uddi_handler (provided by service "tc~esi~uddi~server~core~service") - the service has failed to start. CSN component for support is [BC-ESI-UDDI]
This handler is not functional on AS Java and the content deployment is not possible at the moment.
Create an OSS message in component: BC-ESI-UDDI for support.
In the deploy logs and in the default traces, the following errors are visible:
Service Runner [tc~esi~uddi~server~core~service]#Plain##
Software problem. Assertion failed. Caught and will re-throw as IllegalStateException.
[EXCEPTION]
