Symptom

  • The following error occurs in the error log after running CPI-DS/onprem DS job:
    Error calling RFC function to get table data: <RFC_ABAP_RUNTIME_FAILURE-(Exception_Key: DATA_OFFSET_TOO_LARGE)- Invalid subfield access: Offset too large>.
  • In source SAP application table, a column(s) datatype may be Blob.
