Symptom

Although the SAP Help documentation of Journal Entry - Post API mentions, that it is possible to post asset with the API Journal Entry - Post, there is no Payload file example defined and the postings do not work.

SAP Documentation error

Resolution

The API Journal Entry- Post does not support asset posting currently.

The documentation will be changed. The description about the asset posting possibility and the related asset fields will be removed.
