3016659 - MRP Run does not select Contracts with item types M or W as source of supply on Purchase Requisitions

You are making use of the new Sourcing logic in MRP (Simplified sourcing, SAP Note 2268069).

However, when using Contract item type M (material unknown) or W (material group), you notice that Simplified Sourcing logic does not work. MRP Run does not pick the Contract as the source of supply for newly created Purchase Requisitions. Even if you do maintain the vendor and contract at source list, the source of supply is not selected on newly created Purchase requisitions by MRP.
