3017091 - Leading or trailing space in Referenced Custom Columns

• Certain entities and functions will give error or unexpected results when using a referenced custom column with trailing or leading space.
• For example, an error is displayed when loading a curriculum from Learning Administration or saving an Assignment Profile rule.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Have a referenced custom column with an ID having a trailing or leading space.
2. Attempt to use said custom column in a function or entity and receive an error.

The referenced custom column ID space causes a vague database return.

• Although the system no longer allows to create custom columns with leading or trailing spaces in the UI, a connector or past option may exist.
• To correct this, update the custom column ID or records individually or through connectors as needed to remove the leading or trailing space.
