3017189 - How to Adjust the Next Transfer Date for the Time Account

• Customer has a scenario where the Initial / Next Transfer Date is set based on a particular field in the Job Information using a business rule.
• As an example, suppose if the employee Belongs to Department A, then the Next Transfer Date should be Hire Date + 120 Months
• Later due to some business situation, the employee's department is now changed and based on the new department, the Next Transfer Date should be Hire Date + 60 Months.
• So in this situation, the Next Transfer Date should get adjusted/recalculated

• It is currently not possible for recalculation to adjust the Next Transfer Date

Follow the approach of adjusting the Next Transfer Date Manually -

• For Example, If the current initial transfer date is 1 Jan 2021, this date will show in the "Next transfer date" field on the parent "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer", and the "original date" field in the history.
• Now, let's say you want to change it to 1 Dec, 2020, then you just overwrite these two fields with the new date, without adding anything new. Below Are the Steps -
  
  1. Make sure you have all the permissions to the object "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer" and "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer History" objects if the objects are secured
  2. Navigate to Manage Data -> Search "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer"
  3. The object "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer" is created individually for all the employees for their time accounts. Locate the object specific to the employee for whom you wish to change the Next Transfer Date
  4. Within the object Update the "Next Transfer Date" to New date. Also update the exact same date within the field "Original Date" of the object "Time Account Type Accrual Transfer History"
  5. Save the changes and the Next Transfer Date should get updated.
