3017198 - Error 702 with stack trace when running a query on proxy table - SAP ASE 16.0

Symptom

  • Running a query that has many constant values on proxy table
     
  • The ASE errorlog shows Error 702 Severity 20 with a stack trace:

Error: 702, Severity: 20, State: 1
Memory request for XXXXX bytes exceeds the size of single page of 16384 bytes.

  • The stack trace includes functions:

memalloc
OmniSQLBuffer::initParameterArrays
OmniSQL::getSubstitutedSQLText
RemoteAccess::getStatement
CtlibRemoteAccess::executeLanguage
RemoteAccess::prepareRemoteSQL
