3017484 - WEBGUI blank via SAP Web Dispatcher

Symptom

  • When accessing WebGui via SAP Web Dispatcher, the result is a blank screen. There is no error or return code informed.

  • WebGui works fine if accessed directly (using its own hostname & port)

  • At SICF of the relevant backend system, service "WHITELIST" is active

  • If the error is reproduced while HTTP traffic is captured (via browser DEV tools > network tab), entries like the following can be seen:
