3017921 - How to update and publish data in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) without giving the user edit access to the story?

Is it possible to give users the possibility to update and pubish data in a planning model without giving him the edit access to a story placed in a public folder?

• SAP Analytics Cloud 

The solution is to Change just the Public File action in the Planner Reporter standard role : leave only the Read flag selected and remove all the others then save the role as a new role and assign it to your user:

1. Go to Menu > Security > Roles > Planner Reporter
2. Scroll down to Public File action
3. Deselect all the permissions and only select the Read flag
4. Save as the role under a new Role name then assign it to your user.
