Symptom
- During boot of ASE or
- When building a new ASE server using srvbuild/srvbuildres
- ASE hits a signal 11 error with no function in Address:
Current process (0x1d000f) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
Address 0x0x00007efda8089360 () ...
- It is followed by a stack trace that includes the function Snap::Validate:

The full stack trace is attached in the file Full_Stack_Trace_SnapValidate.
- Which is followed by warning messages:
Warning: The internal timer is not progressing. If this message is generated multiple times, report to SAP Technical Support and restart the server (alarminterval=0).
- As a result the ASE server fails to start.
