3018138 - Server fails to boot after signal 11 with Snap::Validate - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • During boot ASE hits a signal 11 with no function in Address
  • With a stack trace including function Snap::Validate
  • As a result the ASE server fails to start The errorlog shows a sequence including:
    • The full stack trace is attached in file Full_Stack_Trace_SnapValidate
