3018167 - Display Currency Does Not Work in Report

You have created a custom key figure which uses 'Currency Conversion' but when using it in the report, you cannot see all lines being converted as expected. It does not work for all currencies in the report.

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Reports work center view.
3. Search for the report.
4. Open it.
5. Select 'Display Currency' as 'USD'.
6. Run it.
7. You can see results for custom key figure having different currencies (e.g. BRL, EUR).

There is no currency conversion maintained for the currency selected under 'Exchange Rate for Foreign Currencies' configuration of 'Default Exchange Rate Type' type. Therefore, the report cannot convert the currency since it has no reference. The analytical framework just recognizes those currencies which are maintained under 'Default Exchange Rate Type' (i.e. 001 - Default Exchange Rate Type) for the report conversion. Those currencies which were imported from different systems and are available under 'All Exchange Rate Type' selection are not considered for the custom key figure currency conversion. You can check if the required conversion is maintained in the system following these steps:

1. Go to Administration work center.
2. Go to Common Tasks work center view.
3. Click on 'Exchange Rate for Foreign Currencies'. 
4. Select 'Default Exchange Rate Type'.
5. You can see those currencies which the 'Display Currency' option uses.

You can maintain a currency conversion of 'Default Exchange Rate Type' to be considered by the 'Display Currency' following these steps:

1. Go to Administration work center.
2. Go to Common Tasks work center view.
3. Click on 'Exchange Rate for Foreign Currencies'. 
4. Select 'Default Exchange Rate Type'.
5. Click on 'Download Excel XML Template'.
6. Edit it and maintain those values as required.
7. Click on 'Import'.
8. Select the Excel XML file downloaded.
9. You'll have a reference for the 'Display Currency' conversion.
