3018675 - "ID mapping for BUYER_PARTY in external document 1234 could not be determined" Error Raised when replicating Sales Quote/Order from CPQ to C4C

Symptom

Sales Quote/Order Replication from CPQ to C4C, is failing with the following error: "ID mapping for BUYER_PARTY in external document 1234 could not be determined".

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Web Service Message Monitoring under Administrator Work center.
  2. Search for the CustomerOrderReplicationIn Service Interface.
  3. You will be able to see the error.

Cause

Missing Business System ID on the C4C Incoming Payload.

Resolution

In order to fix the missing Business System ID issue, you need to ensure that you are sending the <BusinessSystemID> field filled on the C4C incoming payload under the <BuyerParty> node. On the CPQ Communication System, you need to flag the SAP Business Suite checkbox and make sure that it is correctly configured.
