3019292 - Intercompany Sales Order did not Create Purchase Order Automatically

You have created and released the intercompany sales order. System has created purchase request however no purchase order is created automatically from the purchase request.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center
2. Go to the Sales Orders view 
3. Create and Release Intercompany Sales Order
4. Now go to Purchase Requests and Orders work center
5. Go to the Purchase Orders view
6. Search order based on sales order
7. No records found

You have not configured Automatic Creation of Purchase Orders functionality. This activity allows your buyers to define whether a purchase order is created automatically or manually from a purchase request. A buyer can set a default creation option for combination of company, supplier, origin type and product categories.

1. Go to the Purchase Requests and Orders work center
2. Common Tasks view 
3. Select Define Automatic Creation of Purchase Orders
4. Define creation option for combination of company, supplier, origin type and product categories
5. Select Save and Activate
