Symptom
During results recording - for example with transaction QE01 - it is possible to enter characteristic values with more decimal places than defined in the characteristic. At least an information, but rather a warning or an error message is expected when the amount of decimal places is exceeded for a recorded result.

2 decimal places are defined, but 3 can be entered:
