It works when you log in with a browser.
However, when you login C4C Extended App with the new smartphone UI, your changes are not reflected on the smartphone.

Cause
Your changes are made with the hierarchy navigation type.
However, for the new smartphone UI, it is built base on the flat navigation type.
Therefore, your changes are not controlling the navigation bar of the new smartphone UI.
Resolution
Maintain your changes with the flat navigation type.
