3020244 - Fields are not forward propagated during Job Information Import

Symptom

When Job Information Incremental load is done some fields are being wiped out and not forward propagated.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create Job Information Import File
  2. Go to Import Employee Data > Job Information
  3. Proceed with Import
  4. When import is done system wipes out some fields that are not in the import file

Cause

Field setting on Manage Business Configuration is set as Allow Import = No. Then system is not able to identify import for field and forward propagate values.

Resolution

  1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
  2. Select specific field Details
  3. Set Allow Import to Yes
