3020349 - Issues in Person and Employment domains - Table Report

Table reports in the Person and Employment domains are presenting one of the following issues:

• fields with old/random data
• fields with blank results
• showing data that the user is not supposed to see
• corrupted output files exporting the reports
• manager Job Relationships fields blank in Cross domain reports

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• Report Table

Cell Level Permission flags are enabled in Provisioning

1. Go to Provisioning > Company Settings
2. Check if the following flags are enabled:

Enable Cell Level Permission for data model elements (in all Sub domain schemas)
Enable Cell Level Permissions on “Group by Reports” [Can be used for demo, not ready for production]

The Cell Level permission can result in different issues while running EC reports e.g. blank cells; Application errors due to memory issues; Corrupted output files exporting the reports; Manager Job Relationships fields blank in Cross domain reports, sometimes it doesn't work at all (the data is displayed even if the user has no permission to see it), etc.

The behavior is expected since this functionality is not supported.

These issues were already reported to Engineering and the solution is to deactivate the Cell Level permission. 

Please consider using Advanced Reporting tool if you need to have cell level permission in EC reports. Advanced Reporting was designed to respect the RBP permission of Employee Central automatically, without the need to enable any other switch in Provisioning.
