Symptom
- Benefit eligibility rule is used to set benefit entitlement amount and currency. Upon running auto enrollment job, the system is not setting the currency as per the rule, it is taking the currency by default which is configured in Benefit.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Global Benefit
Reproducing the Issue
- Allowance Benefit has currency configured as GBP.
- Configure Eligibility rule that set Benefit Entitlement amount and Benefit Currency. Example,
- From provisioning run auto enrollment job which has only Allowance Benefit selected.
- Once the auto enrollment job is completed, download the result from Execution dashboard.
- Go to Manage Data > Benefit Enrollment and open enrollment record from the list.
- Notice all enrollment records has currency set as GBP.
Cause
- Using Benefit Eligibility rule for setting the currency or any other value is not supported.
- Eligibility rule is used only to set the entitlement amount, so setting any other value in the rule will not work consistently.
Resolution
- Create rule to set the currency and attach to the Benefit enrollment object under 'Validate Rules' of configure object definition.
