We currently do not support this method of triggering anniversary alerts via EC Alerts and Notifications. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this. Enabling Birthday and Work Anniversary Reminders on the Home Page

We offer a feature which triggers both Birthday and Work Anniversary Reminders via the UI. 

The feature "Birthday and Work Anniversary Cards on the Latest Home Page" can be enabled via the Upgrade Centre and uses inbuilt system logic to trigger the reminders.
