3020898 - IBP: DDR Recommend Decoupling Points operator will not set a decoupling point for a given product and location.

Symptom

  • After running the Recommend Decoupling Points operator, a product/location that you expect to be a decoupling point is not being identified as such.
  • No matter what lead times are changed to or if the Lead Time Customer Tolerance and/or Lead Time Sales Order Visibility are set to 0, the results do not change.
  • The only way for the product/location to be marked a decoupling point is to set the Decoupling Points User Inputs attribute to 'Y' in the Location Product master data.
  • However, even in that situation, the Calculate DDMRP Buffer Levels operator only calculates the Green Zone value while the Red and Yellow Zone values are 0.
