3021208 - Users Receive Reports via Broadcast, but in Different Languages

There are users which are receiving a report attached from a broadcast into their personal e-mails addresses and when opening it they can see it in different languages (e.g. one user receives report attached in English while another user receives it in German).

SAP Cloud for Customer.

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Broadcasts work center view.
3. Search for a broadcast.
4. Run it.
5. Open file received into your e-mail address.
6. You can see different recipients receive the report attached in different languages.

It happens when the 'User Specific' option is selected. When this option is selected, those recipients with an user in the solution will receive data according to their authorizations and according to the language they have maintained in the system. Recipients without an user in the solution receive data created with the authorizations and also language of the user who has created the broadcast. You can check if the broadcast is using the 'User Specific' option following these steps:

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Broadcasts work center view.
3. Search for a broadcast.
4. Click on Edit button.
5. You can see a box named 'User Specific' checked.

This is the standard behavior for broadcast when the 'User Specific' option is selected. If the recipient has an user in the system, the report will have same language user has maintained under 'My Settings'. The business user can check his settings following these steps:

1. Click on User Icon.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Go to My Settings.
4. Check Language maintained. 

If the 'User Specific' option is not selected or the recipient does not have an user in the system, then the report attached will have the language and authorizations of the user who has created the broadcast.
