3021243 - Creating new PO referring to existing PO or having details copied from "last PO" then conditions do not get automatically newest exchange rate - SAP ERP & SAP S/4HANA.

  • When creating a new Purchase Order (PO) either via copying an existing PO or via ME59n, as no price found from access sequence relevant gross condition during creation, system is automatically copying last PO's conditions to new PO.
  • Also during PO creation, it is observed that condition in previous PO has for example "EUR" currency, and the PO item itself is "USD" currency. (Any currency from the system as example, "EUR" and "USD" is just examples to illustrate two different currencies in this scenario). At entering the item details the conditions are all copied from (last) PO, but newest valid EUR -> USD conversation rate not taken into account, and the only way to take that is if you manually adjust the condition's amount because only then is the function module 'CONVERT_TO_LOCAL_CURRENCY' ran for pricing.
