3022033 - SSL connection received: Bad TDS response stream received from server. Expected response but got none! - SAP SDK for ASE

Symptom

  • Bad TDS when using two SSL connections.
  • When using Microsoft Access see error:
    RecordNumber:1;SqlState:08S01;NativeError:30016;[SAP][ASE ODBC Driver]Bad TDS response stream received from server. Expected response but got none!
    RecordNumber:2;SqlState:1ZZ00;NativeError:30002;[SAP][ASE ODBC Driver]Internal Error
    [ FAILED ] Repro.two_active_connections (5521 ms)
    [----------] 1 test from Repro (5521 ms total)
  • If the SSL part is removed, it works properly.
  • It gives a list of tables/views (~3000 of them).
  • If a smaller database with SSL is used it works.
