3022060 - Price Component Cannot Be Copied to Sales Contract when Creating Contract from Sales Quote

Symptom

When create a new sales contract from a sales quote, All the Price Components are not copied to the sales contract.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Sales Quote 123 (123 represents the sales quote ID). 
  2. Navigate to Products tab, the pricing components with values here.
  3. Navigate to Sales Document tab, create a follow up Contract. 
  4. Then Open the contract, go to Pricing tab, all the pricing component are missing.

Cause

    1. Price component is not manually changed or added.
    2. Contract are using internal pricing.

    Resolution

    1. Both the Contract and the sales quote should using external pricing.
    2. Only manually changed or added price components can be copied.
