Symptom

  • In a C ODBC program when
    • calling function SQLColAttribute for a view ODBC
    • with descriptors SQL_DESC_BASE_TABLE_NAME
    • and SQL_DESC_BASE_COLUMN_NAME
  • A view name and column name are returned instead of base table name and column name.
