C.  How is Release date calculated:

Release Date specifies the date on which the Purchase order should be initiated based on the Purchase requisition details.

The below example PR details are:

Delivery date: 01.10.2007
GR processing time: 2 days (working days)
Planned delivery time: 10 days (calendar days)
Purchasing processing time: 2 days (working days)

For the material to be available on the delivery date , the purchase requisition must be released on 13.09.2007

(Delivery date minus GR processing time, planned delivery time, and purchasing  processing time).

Note:

a.The Requisition Date specifies the date on which the purchase requisition was created.

b.Release Date has nothing to do with the date performed in the release strategy (PR release approval date).

D.Contact partners to achive below:

Create a new field to store the value of PR release approval date, and define customized logic via BADI or user-exit to update it.

For Reports ME5A, ME5K or ME5J, you can use BAdI ME_CHANGE_OUTTAB_CUS to overwrite the standard Release Date values. You can find more information about the BAdI in KBA 2455462.
