3023325 - Error F5836 occurs when posting general journal entries

Symptom

When posting general journal entries, error F5836 (Page 1 Line Item 1:Field status group not defined in field status variant ****) occurs.

Environment

SAP S/4Hana Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

Make posting in app Post General journal Entries.

Cause

There is no field status group assigned to relevant account used in line item 1 (or any other line items mentioned in error).

Resolution

In SSCUI 150001 - Manage G/L Account Master Data, assign a field status group for accounts used in posting.
