3023607 - Uploading Analysis for Office workbooks on Google Drive

You are uploading Analysis for Office workbooks on Google Drive to deliver to end users.
When you upload the file and just download the file, Analysis for Office will work as expected.
In case you open the workbook on Google Sheets and make any change on the workbook or the "automatically save" engine starts, the workbook will lose all connections configuration and you will no longer navigate, refresh and execute the workbook. (Analysis buttons will remains greyout).

Saving the workbook and upload it on Google Drive:

• Create an Analysis for Office workbook
• Save locally
• Upload on the Google Drive

 On this case, if you directly download the file and execute it locally, you will be able to execute, refresh and navigate on Analysis for Office workbook.

Opening the workbook on Google Sheet:

• On drive, right click and open on Google Sheet

• On this situation, Google sheets has an engine that AutoSave the sheet on drive. It will AutoSave for any small change:

• After the AutoSave, Google Sheet will overwrite the original workbook and will delete all the references to the data sources included in the file
• If you download the file, Analysis for Office workbook will lose all connections configuration and you will no longer navigate, refresh and execute the workbook
• One symptom observed is that the workbook appears with a new sheet with the name: _com.sap.ip.bi.xl.hiddensheet

This is caused by the Google engine

Analysis for Office works with google drive if not executed on googlesheet.
For the file executed on google sheet, google engine ovewrite the file and it will no longer works with Analysis for Office.
Do not change or open Analysis for Office workbooks on google sheets.
