Internet Explorer version 11 - Rich Text Editor is missing
Google Chrome - Rich Text Editor is available
- The issue with Rich Text Editor not being available when accessing CPM Meeting Notes from Internet Explorer will be fixed by patch on February 19th (PTCH-35089).
- The patch code fix will disable the PowerPaste plugin on Internet Explorer version 11 (IE11).
What is the impact of this change?
Before: When users copy and paste content to the rich text editor using IE11 in the Latest Version of Continuous Performance Management, the plugin automatically cleans up content from Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and HTML sources to ensure clean, compliant content.
After: When users copy and paste content to rich text editor, it won’t automatically clean up content.
Is this impacting other browsers?
No. We are only disabling the plugin for IE11
Is this a permanent change?
No. We will reenable the plugin after b2105, as another planned code change will solve the original issue.
Does it impact other application pages?
No. This is only for meeting notes in Latest Version of Continuous Performance Management.
