3024819 - AMC configuration error 10834 returned by the "Setup BALDR" - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • After upgrading SAP ASE to release 16.0 SP04 and installed AMC, the AMC configuration is getting error.
  • The error happens when trying to configure "setup BALDR"
  • This message can be found in the install_baldr.log file:
    Msg 10834, Level 16, State 1:
    Server '<server_name>', Procedure 'sp_configure', Line 1335:
    Configuration parameter 'enable compression' can not be enabled without license 'ASE_COMPRESSION'.

    Msg 5849, Level 16, State 1:
    Server '<server_name>', Procedure 'sp_configure', Line 1335:
    Verification failed for parameter 'enable compression'.
