You want to know what are the rules for the download of Accounts in the Outlook Add-in client side integration.

Resolution

The accounts that will be downloaded via Outlook Add-in will depend on the Contacts that got downloaded.

Now the Contacts download will depend on the settings you defined in the SAP Cloud For Customer options or Add-in options:

SAP Cloud For Customer:

  1. Administrator.
  2. General Settings.
  3. Microsoft Outlook under Groupware Add-In Settings.
  4. Download Contacts options.

SAP Outlook Add-in:

  1. On Outlook Add-in click on Settings.
  2. In the left menu select Contact.

For example, if the option Download only the contacts with whom I have established relationships is enabled, the downloads will only return contacts where the logged in user has a relationship maintained via “Relationships” facet to a Contact. The relationship can be of any type, including Z (custom) relationships. If this is unchecked (default), contacts returned are the same as the "My Contacts" query in SAP Cloud For Customer.

Then the corresponding Accounts will be downloaded for those contacts.
